Building partnerships anchored on shared values, understanding the diverse needs of stakeholders, and designing sustainable, outcomes-based programs were among the key takeaways from the Marketing Summit hosted by the FEU Marketing and Communication Office. The discussions reinforced the importance of purposeful collaboration in advancing both the university's mission and meaningful community impact.

The summit featured Claire De Leon-Papa, Assistant Vice President and Head of Public Relations and Partnerships at Unilab, as keynote speaker. In her presentation, "Social Partnerships for Sustainable and Outcomes-Based Community Program," De Leon-Papa shared how organizations can build partnerships that move beyond transactional relationships to create measurable and lasting social impact.
Drawing from her extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement, De Leon-Papa emphasized that successful social partnerships are rooted in shared values and a common purpose. She underscored the importance of understanding the diverse needs and perspectives of stakeholders to develop programs that are relevant, responsive, and capable of delivering measurable outcomes. She also challenged participants to design initiatives that are sustainable and replicable, enabling successful models to create lasting impact across communities.

In her opening message, FEU Vice President for Corporate Affairs Rowena Capulong-Reyes underscored the university's longstanding commitment to purposeful partnerships, noting that marketing extends far beyond promotion.
"Marketing is no longer confined to promotion and visibility. It is about creating value, building trust, and strengthening relationships with the stakeholders we serve," she said. Reyes added that FEU's own community engagement initiatives demonstrate how collaboration can transform lives and create opportunities while advancing the university's mission.

The discussions resonated with participants, reaffirming that effective marketing and communication are not only about telling compelling stories but also about cultivating relationships that create meaningful outcomes.
As the FEU Group of Schools continues to strengthen its engagement with communities and partners, the summit reinforced that purposeful collaboration—grounded in shared values and focused on measurable impact—remains essential to building programs that create lasting change.
