Far Eastern University formalized a new industry partnership with Moongig, a rapidly expanding digital health talent platform, through a ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing last Nov. 4 at the OUR Conference Room. The collaboration aims to create direct employment and training pathways for FEU healthcare students and alumni, responding to the growing demand for skilled professionals in the local and international healthcare sectors.

The partnership was established to address a shared vision: empowering future and current healthcare workers by bridging academic preparation with real-world workforce needs. Both FEU and Moongig recognize the widening gap between talent supply and industry demand, particularly as healthcare institutions face persistent staffing shortages and require more efficient, technology-driven solutions to match qualified candidates with job opportunities.

Under the MOU, Moongig will integrate its platform into FEU’s career development ecosystem, offering students seamless access to internship placements, flexible roles, and full-time employment in leading hospitals, clinics, and care facilities. The collaboration includes a lineup of initiatives such as job-matching services, credentialing support, and joint career development programs—including webinars, workshops, and industry-informed career fairs that highlight emerging employment trends in the health sector.

Moongig, known for transforming how healthcare employers and professionals connect across the Philippines and abroad, commits to providing FEU students and alumni with priority access to its job listings, compliance assistance, and workforce readiness tools. The university, meanwhile, will actively promote these opportunities and ensure that students from programs such as Nursing, Medical Technology, and Pharmacy benefit from the platform’s growing network of health institutions.

The initiative promises long-term impact by enhancing the employability of FEU graduates and expanding their mobility in an increasingly competitive labor market. Healthcare employers also stand to benefit from direct access to a pool of competent, well-prepared FEU graduates.

As the partnership rolls out within the academic year, students can expect immediate opportunities to explore Moongig’s digital career pathways, marking another step in FEU’s commitment to preparing Tamaraws for meaningful and future-ready healthcare careers.
