Far Eastern University (FEU) has been recognized as one of the three national winners of the People Program of the Year at the 49th People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Awards, the country’s premier recognition program celebrating excellence in human resource management and organizational development.

FEU earned the distinction for its transformative Bread of HOPE program, born from FEU’s long-standing partnership with the Manila City Jail Female Dormitory. The initiative empowers Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) through hands-on bakery training and livelihood opportunities.

Beyond income generation, the program restores dignity, builds hope, and demonstrates how education, rehabilitation, and collaboration can create lasting social impact—even behind bars.

The recognition was announced during the 2025 PMAP Annual Conference held at Nustar Resort & Casino, Cebu City, from October 22–24, 2025.
