Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila and FEU Pampanga formally signed a memorandum of understanding with SeeMeSol, Inc. last Sept. 29, to strengthen collaborations that enhance student career development opportunities locally and globally.
“We have a simple but hard-to-do mission, which is to uplift the Philippines and the Filipinos,” said FEU President Juan Miguel R. Montinola. “Two words stand out in our mission and vision: inclusivity and providing equitable opportunities. We like to include everyone, regardless of background or financial capability.”
He added that education is part of a holistic process that requires collaboration among families, schools, and industries.
“We are very happy with this opportunity with SeeMeSol. It provides better insight, better networks, and better materials for everyone to progress in their chosen aspirations,” said Montinola.
David Padgett, SeeMeSol founder and chairman of the board, shared how the company’s technology bridges education and employment.
“We started in Singapore in 2007 with a focus on employability. The challenge has always been connecting education with employment,” he said. “There’s no shortage of talent or opportunity in the Philippines—what’s missing is the connection between the two. We’re here to help build that bridge.”
He added that partnering with FEU is an honor and an opportunity to help support the entire student journey.
“Our mission is to support you all along the way—from first-year students to graduation, and from graduation to alumni—really focusing on connecting talent. We look forward to a very happy signing ceremony and to getting to work afterwards,” said Padgett.
Architect Vannesa Grace Cabiedes, director of FEU’s Career and Development Placement Office, noted that the collaboration will open more pathways for students, equipping them with global-standard tools and networks to thrive in the world of work.
This partnership between FEU Manila, FEU Pampanga, and SeeMeSol, Inc. reinforces FEU’s commitment to produce globally competent and career-ready graduates.
The event was attended by FEU officials Rosanna Salcedo, chief finance officer; and Raquel Baquiran, VP for Career Development; and representatives from SeeMeSol, including Victor San Pascual, business development manager; Angel Dastjerdi, head of business development; and Edsel Martinez, consultant.
