FEU, LSEG continue to empower future business, IT leaders

Far Eastern University (FEU) marked another milestone in its collaboration with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), celebrating the graduation and completion ceremony of 30 interns from FEU Manila and FEU Cavite under the University Program for Academic Year 2024–2025 last July 15.

The graduating cohort comprised students from Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, and Information Technology, who completed their internships, honed their professional skills, and demonstrated commitment to their academic and career goals.

The program underscores FEU and LSEG’s shared mission to empower the next generation of business and IT leaders by combining academic excellence with hands-on industry exposure. Scholars under the program received a tuition subsidy for their final year, valuable internship placements, and employment offers from partner companies upon completion.

The following scholars were also recognized:

Integrity Award: Carla Shanylle Guansing and Christopher John Abling II.

Excellence Award: Carla Shanylle Guansing; Maria Maxene Calixto; and Nicole Angelique Pangilinan.

Partnership Award: John Patrick Naig; Ralph Aldrin Martinez; and Nataschia Camille Chua.

Change Award: Yuichi Desquitado; Kobe Dominic Cruz; and Frances Aneth Rosales.

One of the program’s graduates and multi-awardee, Carla Shanylle Guansing, reflected on her experience, “My experience with the LSEG Academe Linkage University Program has been truly life-changing… I am proud to live the statement: ‘LSEG to FEU is Leading Students to Excellence and Growth.’ Thank you, LSEG and FEU, for shaping me into a better young professional and person.”
