Far Eastern University (FEU), through its Media Center, received two Awards of Merit at the 21st Philippine Quill Awards, held last Aug. 27 at The Manila Hotel.

The recognition, given by the International Association of Business Communicators, celebrates excellence in business communication across various disciplines.

The university’s winning entries, both under Division 4, Category 22 (Audio-Visual), are: “Honoring Excellence: The Journey of FEU Batch 2024,” a tribute to the graduating class, highlighting their academic milestones and perseverance; and “Empowering Communities through Education and Sustainable Livelihoods,” a showcase of FEU’s community extension efforts, including Project HOPE, Project Mangyan, and Project Calatagan.

These projects were made possible through collaboration with the Community Extension Services, Office of the University Registrar, Career Development and Placement Office, and Student Development Office.

The awards were received by Dr. Rowena Capulong Reyes, Vice President for Corporate Affairs, and Dr. Nikko Visperas, manager of the Media Center.

“We always strive to do our best in every video we produce, both in quality and meaning,” said Visperas. “These award-winning videos were made possible through the hard work and dedication of the Media Center team, Corporate Affairs, and the offices we collaborated with.”

Selected from over 1,000 entries, the award reflects FEU’s commitment to inclusivity and community extension.
