In the category of institutions with 300 and above examinees, FEU recorded an overall passing rate of 81.04 percent, reflecting robust performance in a nationally administered professional certification aligned with human resource practice.

The examinee group was primarily composed of students from the BS Psychology program, underscoring the role of behavioral science in preparing graduates for careers in human resource management. The outcome highlights FEU’s ability to translate academic preparation into competencies recognized by professional bodies.

The award was formally received during the HREAP General Membership Meeting and the Outstanding Human Resource Students of the Philippines awarding ceremony at F1 Hotel Manila in Bonifacio Global City. It was accepted on behalf of the University by Vice President for Human Resources Carlos Fedelino Valencia and Psychology Department Chairperson Dr. Lulette Matammu.

“This recognition is a testament to how FEU’s psychology program prepares our graduates to excel in their selected field. This is seen with FEU being one of the few schools having 300+ CHRA passers,” said Valencia said.

This distinction affirms FEU’s focus on strengthening program delivery and preparing graduates for the demands of the workplace. It also underscores the importance of aligning academic pathways with professional certification as part of student development.

“This achievement of our students reflects not only their commitment to excellence, but also the [FEU’s] dedication to delivering programs that remain responsive to the evolving needs of the industry. This recognition highlights the Department of Psychology’s continued efforts to evolve and to prepare graduates to become professionals in the workplace,” added Matammu.

As the landscape of work continues to evolve, FEU sustains its efforts to equip students with the knowledge and readiness needed to contribute meaningfully to organizations and communities.
