FEU Institute of Technology (FEU Tech)’s engineering programs are accredited by the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), a full signatory of the Washington Accord. This means FEU engineering graduates hold qualifications recognized as substantially equivalent to Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology-accredited programs in the U.S. and other signatory countries—affirming FEU’s place among globally respected engineering institutions.
Under PTC’s Tier Classification System (TCS) FEU Tech is categorized as a Tier 1 Institution for meeting the thresholds for all the three TCS criteria: National and/or Regional Significance; Institutional Leadership, Governance, and Management; Quality Leadership, Quality Commitment, and Strategies.
FEU Tech, whose senior executive director is Dr. Benson T. Tan, was also cited by PTC for its cooperation during the Self-Tiering Assessment Report review process.

“[The accredited engineering programs being offered by the university will also be listed in the register of accredited programs of the Federation of Engineering Institution of Asia and the Pacific],” following PTC Guidelines for Engineering Education. These are Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
According to the International Engineering Alliance, “[The Washington Accord] is a multi-lateral agreement between bodies responsible for accreditation or recognition of tertiary-level engineering qualifications within their jurisdictions who have chosen to work collectively to assist the mobility of professional engineers.”
