FEU Academy, in collaboration with the Institute of Arts and Sciences  (IAS), launched the Microsoft Excel Associate Level Training and Certification. This initiative aimed to equip students and professionals with essential Excel skills, enhancing their productivity and employability in today’s digital landscape.

The training sessions were led by Microsoft Excel Certified trainers, Department of Economics and Human Capital Studies chairperson Rey Parcon, Education Technology (EdTech) director Catherine Catamora, and EdTech coordinator Richmond Riyadhen Lim, who shared their expertise and guided participants through hands-on exercises and real-world applications of Excel.

“As part of the EdTech Office, I see this certification as an essential ‘step in the ladder’ for staying up to date with technology. Mastering advanced Excel allows them to efficiently track student performance, identify trends in the scores of their students per assessment type, and even a historical analysis of scores distribution across all school years and semesters,” said Lim.

“This deeper understanding of data not only saves time, but also helps educators make more informed decisions about their teaching methods. It creates a strong foundation for lifelong learning and keeps us ready for whatever new tech will be with us in the future,” added Lim.
